Salix Consulting, Inc. is a commercial unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operator authorized by the FAA for aerial services in the United States. We use our UAS in an expanding number of practices including large and small development interests, public agencies (cities, counties), special districts (water agencies, public utility districts), agricultural interests and operators, individual property owners, nonprofit organizations, and academic institutions. Sharing UAS data and imagery with our clients has proven to be a key component of successful consultations around wetlands, biological, and land use issues.
Our operators possess FAA Part 107, remote pilot certification with a small UAS rating. We produce a variety of products from UAS operations, which are georectified for import into existing geospatial or CAD software for further analysis.
